Sep 27 Crypto Hacks Tracker: Fifteen incidents were added, bringing the tracker to 30, among them FTX, Coincheck, WazirX and Atomic Wallet. Two recorded losses were revised against stronger sources. Curve Finance's July 30, 2023 exploit now reads $61.7 million, the sum of the per-pool amounts in the postmortem by LlamaRisk, Curve DAO's risk team, down from $70 million. Multichain's July 7, 2023 loss now reads $127 million and cites the Singapore High Court's 2024 judgment in Fantom Foundation v Multichain Foundation, which records that over US$127 million in assets was moved out of its wallets.
Sep 26 Corporate Crypto Treasuries Tracker: Three companies reported lower balances than the tracker previously showed. Bitdeer held 61 BTC at the end of August, down from 257 a month earlier, according to its August production update. Empery Digital reported 1,179 BTC on 25 August, down from 1,514 in July. Bit Digital held about 164,284 ETH on 31 August, down from 164,842, and that total includes 39,000 LsETH posted to Galaxy as collateral. Figures come from each company release.
Sep 26 Crypto ETF Flow Tracker by Issuer: This cycle added issuer-reported coin holdings and fee terms to the tracker. The iShares Bitcoin Trust held 798,724 BTC on 24 September and the iShares Ethereum Trust held 3,654,579 ETH. Bitwise Bitcoin ETF held 38,447 BTC and ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF held 34,190 BTC. Shares outstanding rose over the week at IBIT, ETHA, ETHB, BITB, ETHW and TETH. The VanEck Bitcoin ETF fee waiver ended on 31 July, leaving a 0.20% sponsor fee. 21Shares waives the full TETH fee until 8 October.

    Every figure traces to a named primary source: the regulator or statute, an issuer or exchange disclosure, a company filing, or CoinLaw’s own original analysis. No aggregator estimates.

  2. Dated

    Each figure carries the date it was last confirmed, shown on the report and on its card, so you can see how current it is before you rely on it.

  3. Re-checked

    Figures are re-verified on a fixed cycle. Any that cannot be reconfirmed against a current source are marked and queued for refresh rather than quietly left in place.
