Securitize (NYSE: SECZ) launched Securitize Stocks on Thursday, 8th October 2026, offering Solana-based tokens backed one-for-one by shares of 12 U.S. companies, including Apple, Nvidia and Tesla. The tokens carry dividends and voting rights, the company said.
What Happened?
- Securitize Stocks covers 12 companies at launch, including Microsoft, Amazon, Alphabet, Meta, Netflix, Circle, Strategy and Palantir.
- Jump Trading supplies liquidity on Securitize’s existing Solana platform, and every trade settles in the USDC stablecoin.
- Eligible investors in the U.S., Europe and other permitted markets can trade during extended hours, with 24/7 access planned later.
- NYSE and OKXICE trading is expected, but both depend on those venues launching and meeting regulatory requirements.
Trading opens on Securitize’s PropAMM platform on Solana, with Jump Trading as the liquidity provider. RQD will run the clearing, custody and settlement infrastructure that ties each token back to its underlying share in traditional markets, while Ripple Prime plans to explore institutional uses for the assets.

The tokens are security entitlements
The legal wrapper matters more than the ticker list. Each token represents a security entitlement, Securitize said, so the holder does not appear on the issuing company’s shareholder register. Conversion to direct registered ownership may become available once issuers adopt tokenization themselves.
Carlos Domingo, Securitize’s chairman and CEO, said the product aims to put equities onchain “without leaving behind the ownership, investor protections and market infrastructure” that U.S. capital markets depend on.
That framing answers a pointed criticism. According to Reuters, many tokenized stock products sold overseas are marketed like shares yet rarely deliver the rights, disclosures and protections of ordinary equities. Securitize’s structure targets that gap with one-for-one share backing plus dividends and votes, though the entitlement model still stops short of a name on the register.
For anyone already eligible, two details in Securitize’s disclosures deserve a close read: whether their jurisdiction is on the permitted list, and how the entitlement converts if an issuer later tokenizes its own shares.
NYSE and OKXICE trading depends on venues yet to launch
Securitize expects the tokens to trade on the New York Stock Exchange’s planned 24/7 digital platform and on the OKXICE Tokenized Securities Venue, a joint venture between NYSE parent Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) and crypto exchange OKX. Neither venue is live yet.
Regulators have started laying the groundwork. The SEC rolled out an innovation exemption last month to open a path for tokenized securities venues built on blockchain rails, and the OKX-ICE venture filed this week to introduce tokenized stock trading under that framework.
Why It Matters?
Securitize brings scale to the attempt. Founded in 2017, the firm has issued $4.5 billion in tokenized assets and is best known for issuing the first blockchain-based money market fund from BlackRock, a backer alongside ARK Invest. It has also tokenized some $300 million of its own listed shares on Solana and Avalanche. Exchange operators abroad are running parallel tests, including LSEG’s tokenized blue-chip plan.
The round-the-clock trading that crypto firms promote for tokenized shares now rests on two calendars Securitize does not control. Until the NYSE platform and the OKXICE venue clear their regulatory requirements and open, Securitize Stocks trade on one Solana venue during extended hours, with Jump Trading on the other side of the book.
