Super League Enterprise (Nasdaq: SLE) bought four Bitcoin from October 22 to October 25, 2026, its latest 8-K shows. The gaming advertiser paid about $80,581.26 per coin, lifting its disclosed buys to seven before Metaplanet’s 2,100 BTC arrives.
Key Facts
- Super League Enterprise bought four Bitcoin over four days at an average price of about $80,581.26 per coin.
- The company has disclosed buying seven Bitcoin this month across three 8-K filings, for roughly $568,000 in total.
- The SEC filing names Super League as the buyer, contradicting reports that credited the coins to Metaplanet’s US subsidiary.
- Metaplanet still plans to contribute 2,100 BTC and $2.5 million in cash when the deal closes in the fourth quarter.
Seven coins across three filings, each at a lower price
Item 8.01 of the latest 8-K covers the buy in one sentence. Super League tied it to its “exploration of Bitcoin as a treasury asset alongside cash and cash equivalents,” wording it used in both earlier filings.
| Purchase window | BTC bought | Average price |
|---|---|---|
| 10th October, 2026 | 1 | $83,041.40 |
| 16th October, 2026 | 2 | $81,444.82 |
| From 22nd to 25th October, 2026 | 4 | about $80,581.26 |
| Total | 7 |
Each average has landed below the last one, and the three buys add up to about $568,000. The newest filing doesn’t say how the coins were paid for or where they’re held. It carries no exhibits beyond the cover page data file.
JUST IN: Japanese Metaplanet’s new U.S. #Bitcoin treasury subsidiary, Super League $SLE, buys an additional 4 BTC and now holds a total of 7 BTC ahead of the deal closing. This will give Metaplanet access to capital markets across two continents. 👀🔥 https://t.co/pa1zcDcwOE

The 2,100 BTC handover still waits on closing
Under the August 18 agreement, Metaplanet Holdings will contribute 2,100 BTC and $2.5 million in cash. In return it gets 44,859,400 Super League shares at $3.00 apiece. Metaplanet would then own about 95.7% of the common stock, and Super League would become Superplanet, Inc., trading as SUPA. CoinLaw covered the original terms in its report on Metaplanet’s US Bitcoin treasury plan.
Stockholders approved every deal-related proposal at the October 16 annual meeting, Super League said. The company valued the coins at roughly $170.0 million as of that vote, up from $132.1 million at signing. After closing, Metaplanet also gets 24 months to invest up to $210.0 million more through preferred stock.
Why It Matters?
Seven coins barely register next to 2,100. What they do show is a Bitcoin treasury’s disclosure routine already running, with three filings in about two weeks. That’s the same filing rhythm larger Bitcoin treasury companies keep. For current SLE holders, Item 8.01 of each new 8-K is where any further buys will surface first.
The filings leave two questions open. Will these seven coins sit alongside the 2,100 BTC on Superplanet’s books at closing? And will Super League keep buying once Metaplanet takes control?
