Netflix has decided to bring back the “Continue Watching” queue for its users. It has removed the “Recently Watched” tab in most regions, making it harder for people to find their titles they have watched in the past. Netflix’s ‘Continue Watching’ queue gets a huge quality of life improvement. Netflix has launched a new queue showing all of the titles you have viewed or intend to watch in the near future. This update, similar to the ‘continue watching’ section on their previous interface but now with a vastly improved user experience, is sure to please those who were unhappy with the lack of a queue.

Netflix’s ‘Continue Watching’ queue has always been an amazing feature for users, but Netflix just made it even better. Now, when you rate a TV show or movie that you have already seen, the recommendation engine will recommend other shows and movies that are similar to that one. This means that you’ll never be stuck with a long list of options again!

In a recent update, the Netflix app saves the progress of shows so that viewers can pick up right where they left off. In previous updates, when a show was removed from the “continue watching” queue, users had to re-watch everything from the beginning if they wanted to continue watching. This new addition will make it easier for Netflix subscribers who have a lot going on in their lives and want to watch Netflix at their own pace.

No longer do you have to remind your houseguests about your recent true crime binge, or to alert them to the fact that Emily is in Paris. According to, Netflix now allows users to remove titles from their “Continue watching” list. Although technically this option has been available for some time, it is now prominently displayed.

Not all Netflix users have the ability to remove a show from the “Continue Watching” list. If your screen looks identical, then you will need to wait. To remove a show from your Netflix account, select the title that you wish to delete. Below the title, you’ll find the “Remove From Continue Watching” icon in the menu of preferences. This option will be available on Netflix’s web, mobile, and TV platforms.

Half-finished movies and shows would disappear from the interface when they were replaced by new, more complete shows or movies. Although the UI hasn’t changed much over the years, the new feature by Netflix allows viewers to customize their screens.
