Major US financial regulators to discuss “Cryptocurrencies Oversight”

With the aim of discussing their oversight role in regards to the cryptocurrencies market, the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) will hold a dedicated hearing on February 6, with 100% focus on the virtual currencies issues.

Earlier this week, France, Germany and others have expressed their support for increased crypto regulations during the World Economic Forum (WEF) 2018 and the issue is likely to be on the agenda of the upcoming G20 Summit, to be held in March in Argentina.
