According to reports from a local news agency Xinhua, Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) aims for a “healthy and orderly” development of the blockchain industry with its recently proposed measures to streamline the technology’s application in China.

According to MIIT, blockchain ecosystem is only starting to develop and now is a good time to provide guidance for its use, starting with the financial sector and expanding to electronic deposit services, supply chain management, Internet of Things, etc.

To that goal, the ministry intends to improve inter-department interaction as well as the operating power of its IT systems and storage.
