Bitcoin Futures greenlighted

CME Group Inc, the world’s largest futures exchange, will be offering Bitcoin futures contracts to mainstream investors after it self-certified the initial listing.

Beginning on Sunday, December 17, those new Bitcoin futures contracts will be available for trading on the CME Globex electronic trading platform.

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) has also announced a self-certification of new contracts for Bitcoin futures products by Cboe Futures Exchange (CFE) has self-certified new contracts for Bitcoin futures products as well as the Cantor Exchange (Cantor) self-certification of new contract for Bitcoin binary options.
